If this is how our Government and President thinks then why aren't they themselves taking pay cuts and paying for their own . I mean they are there by their own choice also. These fools weren't forced into the government jobs, it was their choice to take it. The people of the USA just voted the one in that they thought would be the lesser of the foolish idiots.

Bad press, including major mockery of the plan by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 million annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.
"Look, it's an all volunteer force," Obama complained. "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute. I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country," Obama continued. "I wasn't asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I'd have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation's deficit. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans."

Wow!! Totally disappointing!! One president sends everyone into war and the next one can't figure out why our soldiers volunteered to go fight and risk a chance of losing their lives.
ReplyDeleteI admit that I thought Obama would be a good president based on the facts that he has a smart business sense to him. But, sense can only go so far. I know that sometimes we all bite off more than we can chew and I believe that Obama has done just that.....bitten off more than he knows what to do with. In his state of overwhelm, he has totally lost his ethical sense of priorities.
I apologize for believing so strongly in Obama's abilities to be our representative of the United States. I don't think it is too late to change my mind. He has barely been in office for a year, so let's impeach and let Romney see if he has what it takes to be our president.
I think we've heard and seen enough chickenshit behaviors from Obama. God, give us the strength and courage to correct our mistakes!!

This isn't totally true. The Obama administration did kick around the idea of private ins reimbursing the DVA. The idea was killed. Obama NEVER said anything about our soldiers WHINING about anything. Or ever called them selfish. This quote is total fiction written by the Jon Stewart writers. ALWAYS research, before posting anything you have gotten in an email. I am not an Obama supporter. I am a truth supporter though. Check all facts first.
